Columbia University, Class of 2026

Wyatt King

I recently graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University, where I studied international relations and statistics and covered the 2024 pro-Palestine protests as a photo and video journalist. My professional experience spans journalism, free speech advocacy, and data analytics—having worked at NBC News and PEN America, among other organizations.

Academically, I am interested in nuclear non-use, public opinion research, and epistemology in the social sciences more broadly. For my senior thesis, I conducted an online survey experiment evaluating the Indian public's attitudes toward nuclear weapons use. For the paper, I was given the Charles A. Beard Prize, awarded to the student who writes the best paper in Columbia's political science department.
